Potter Baseball kicked off it’s inaugural tour in 2010. Due to it’s overwhelming success, there will be two tours in 2011 spreading their love of baseball across more than 2,000 miles, through Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, and Washington, DC.
Tour 1 will feature 15U and 13U teams and travel through Pennsylvania, Ohio and Maryland from June 22 until July 17.
Tour 2 will kickoff on July 20 and end on August 11. It will feature 16U and 14U teams and cross Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC.

James is a fifteen-year-old Sophomore at South River High School. James started playing baseball in 6th grade after many years of basketball and martial arts. He instantly loved it and now plays for 10 months out of the year. He is studying engineering and sports medicine. James wants to be a team trainer and physical therapist. He spends his free time teaching his 7-year-old brother baseball, snowboarding and hanging out with his friends and girlfriend. Wade is a rising Junior at Southern High School in Anne Arundel County. He is interested in music, producing, and African American history. His free time consists of me writing, recording, and producing music and learning about how to create and produce instrumentals. He says he is well-known to his peers as a rapper, but thinks of himself as a “hip hop engineer.” Wade enjoys writing his own lyrics to original songs. Wade has performed a few times this year and hopes to be well known in his area. Chris is a rising 8th Grader at Walker Mill Middle School in Prince Georges County. He likes math and is focused on baseball right now. He hopes to one day be a successful pitcher. He is currently playing for three baseball teams. He recently received the Most Valuable Player in baseball award from his school team. He has been named a National Young Scholar and has attended their leadership workshops for two years. He is trying to focus on school work so he can get into a private school in the 9th grade. Chris also plays basketball for the Upper Marlboro Mustangs 13u AAA team.

Chase is a rising Sophomore at Kent Island High School. Chase has been playing baseball since he was 5 years old, most recently playing for the Babe Ruth league on Kent Island. He has played third base and outfield and enjoys pitching as well. He has been involved in sending care packages to soldiers based overseas on multiple occasions and plans to work with a group later this year that sends decorated trees to soldiers at Christmas. When not playing baseball, Chase enjoys target shooting, fishing, hunting, flying, swimming and skiing. Age: 15

Wyatt is a rising Sophomore at Clearfield Area High School. He plays JV, Varsity, Babe Ruth as well as Legion baseball. He also plays basketball. Wyatt’s hobbies are fishing, hunting and ATV riding. He enjoys going to Pittsburgh Pirates games as well as watching them on TV. He is really looking forward to the Tour and playing baseball in all of the different towns.

Alex Kopin

Alex has played baseball since he was 9 years old. In 2009, he played on Coach Potter’s Cooperstown team. He has attended baseball camps at the University of Maryland during the past two summers and will participate in a camp this summer at the University of North Carolina. Alex was a freshman at South River High School this year. He was selected for the JV baseball team at School this year, but due to a fracture was unable to play in any of the spring season games. He is playing on two teams in addition to playing on Coach Potter’s baseball tour this summer.
