Providing Solutions for Youth Sports

Speaking Engagements

Jeff Potter has spent the last ten years being extremely intertwined with youth baseball. Whether it be coaching, being a fan, or a supportive dad, Jeff has had a love and respect for the game of baseball. With his newly published book, “Whatever Happened to Baseball?”, Jeff now has added another special layer of knowledge and wisdom to the insight of today’s youth baseball. Jeff will answer the tough questions. He is less concerned with your approval of him, and more concerned that after listening to him, you will take something from that talk, and will use it productively with kids.

- should I put my kid on a travel league ?
- how do I deal with a coach that can’t be dealt with?
- Do kids need a break from baseball?
- Should my boy focus on baseball only and give up other sports?
- When should my boy be allowed to throw a curve ball?
- How do I tell if my boy really has passion for the game?
- How do I find the right coach?
-At what age do I get personal instruction for my child?

These, and about a hundred other questions, can be answered. You may not like the answers you hear but you will certainly realize that the answers you are getting are passionate, heart-felt, and honest. Jeff will take shots at players, parents, coaches, and yes, himself. He will explain to you the myths about the power of high school coaches and in the same ten minutes give a tribute to the really good coaches that not only know baseball, but know life. He will scold the parents, minimize the coaches, challenge the players…….all in the same speech, but somehow when he has completed his talk, you will feel that you have been educated in some way.

Jeff speaks to groups of all sizes, in all venues.  He would love to speak to you.
