The book was AWESOME!
I’m not a huge book reader but was drawn to it and completed the book in just 3 days. I loved the stories about you and your experiences and could relate many to both my playing days and my coaching. The title of the book is perfect – I found myself prior to the book asking myself why are things different now-a-days than when I played. And then to read the stories of back when you were younger, it makes me wonder even more. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BASEBALL???
I thank you for writing it and have recommended it to many of my fellow coaches and parents. I am actually thinking about doing what you did with the book on Coach Spellman – ordering a dozen or so and giving them to certain players and parents.
I am reading the book again for a second time and finding it as enjoyable as the first.
